Caernarfon Town FC Youth Development

 

 

Caernarfon Town Football Club promotes youth football through its Youth Development structure. It is administered by the Youth Development Management Team and regulated by the Youth Development Committee on behalf of the Club’s Board of Directors. The structure is committed to providing various youth programs for players of all abilities, from beginners to the enthusiasts to the talented. Caernarfon Town FC is a true promoter of grass-roots football that is continually looking to improve the services it offers.

 

The structure is based on the Football Association of Wales Trust’s statement of:

 

“More Players – Better Players”

 

 

Aims & Objectives of the Structure

 

·     to develop opportunities for junior & youth players

·      to develop the standards of play of junior & youth players

·     to identify & develop players who can progress to represent the senior team

·      to identify & develop players who can progress to a professional level

·      to offer all junior/youth players an opportunity to experience or develop their game

·      to develop & improve the standard of coaching in North West Wales

·      to develop & improve the standard of facilities in North West Wales

 

 

The Youth Development program will achieve its aims through the ‘Football in The Community’ scheme and the ‘Youth Academy’.

 

 

The program is also concerned with the overall development of both children and adults within the community, using football as a tool to improve their personal and social skills.

 

 

The participants will be the number one priority for the ‘Youth Development’ program.
